Axiom GB has supplied ITO International Transport AS with seven swivel wheel sorters driven by Interroll 24 volt EC310 drive rollers.
Based in Oslo, ITO has delivered materials handling solutions to streamline and automate businesses for over 60 years. It is a family owned company that has produced storage and logistics solutions for many industries including food and online retail.
Impressed by Axiom’s own designs and automated solutions, ITO contacted Axiom to discuss the opportunity to work together on supplying a project. ITO representatives flew to the UK and Matthew Nickson, Axiom GB director, took them to visit Cambridge Assessment, a site where Axiom has previously designed and installed an automated sortation solution.
Impressed by the Cambridge Assessment installation and the capabilities of Axiom’s swivel wheel sorters, ITO Norway placed an order for Axiom to produce and ship seven swivel wheel sorters together with seven outfeed roller wedges in February 2018.
