Out of Eden Project Ready for Shipping

Long standing Axiom customer, Out of Eden, wanted to extend their conveyor system. The original system, installed in 2018, was a simple ‘L’ shaped  ZLP conveyor to take the packaged products from the pick & packing area through an internal wall to the despatch area. The original operation called for manual palletisation of boxes off the end of the conveyor and hand-truck moving of the pallet to the lorry outside. Here the packages would be manually loaded onto the trailer.

The new system, being installed next week, will extend from the existing system directly to the trailer outside, with an optional take-off inside for manual palletising if required. Utilising a Qimarox Prorunner mk5 lift, the packaged orders are lifted to ~3.2m to transport above access doors from other parts of the warehouse, before exiting the building through a new building extension. Here the packages will decline to a Newlands mtc3x Boom-loader to be directly loaded to the waiting trailer. The solution will reduce manual handling stages and increase despatch efficiency, keeping customers happy. 

The lorry, supplied by long-standing transport partner Blue Collar Haulage Ltd, being loaded at Axiom GB Ltd in Tamworth, Staffordshire in cold but bright conditions.
