Bespoke Conveyor Systems
Axiom designed, built and installed solutions boost productivity and increase efficiency.
What sets Axiom conveyor systems apart?
Axiom supplied Conveyor Systems are designed and built in the UK and can be supplied as roller, belt or zero-pressure (ZLP). Each of these types utilise a common aluminium profile side section. Installed with additional specialist modules for a complete solution, all our conveyors are reliable, efficient and low maintenance.
A conveyor is a key part of any material handling system used to move products efficiently without requiring additional manual handling or labour. The products could be loose, in a box or tote or packaged ready for the onward journey to the end customer.
Axiom engineers will also design and build the control system for your conveyor solution to guarantee the maximum performance and deliver your exact needs.
Bespoke Conveyor Key Features:
- Based around a common proprietary anodised aluminium side profile across all conveyor types
- Drives supplied from servo; AC & DC motors and drum-motor rollers as required
- Linear speeds >2.0 m/s common for high throughput lines
- >10,000 packages per hour possible
- Integration of side guides
- Sensors supplied from all major manufacturers
- Moulded components to eliminate trap points and for easy mounting of sensors
- Pressed steel legs and adjustable feet for rigidity
- Conveyors capable of handling all common types of packages seen in logistics and warehousing type applications:
- Plastic totes
- Boxes or cartons
- Padded envelopes
- Bagged product
- Envelopes
- All conveyor systems are Axiom's own designs
- We can advise on which type of system is best for you
- Experts in encoder product tracking
- Capable of handling all types of packages
Axiom belt conveyors are designed for low maintenance and high reliability in materials handling solutions. Carrying totes, cartons and individual packages.
Zero pressure or zero-line pressure (ZLP) conveyor sections allow the buffering and accumulation of product in a highly controlled solution. Boxes do not touch, prevent back-pressure or crushing.
A complete Axiom conveyor system will often comprise many elements to allow efficient operation. This can include merges; bends, angled wedge sections amongst others.
If a new solution can save you 40 to 60 seconds on each order you pack and you are processing over a million a year, that’s a significant saving.
